5 Finds for Friday
I've been wanting to create a post like this for a very long time. Now that I'm doing my best to stay off social media I thought today was the perfect opportunity to do so.
Here are 5 finds that I hope you'll enjoy:
1. This online community. I joined at the the start of last year and have now read several books that I necessarily wouldn't have chosen on my own. If you love classic books by women authors, engaging and delightful guest speakers and other lovely humans to converse with then check it out.
2. This podcast and quarterly periodical. I have subscribed to this periodical for several years and have never been disappointed. It truly is a magazine for readers. And the podcast is a fantastic way to learn more about lesser known and some well known authors and books. (ok...not strictly one find but you can find both on the same website.)
3. This recipe. Don't let the amount of zucchini keep you from making these. My husband HATES zucchini yet ate several helpings of this meal on at least two different occasions before knowing there was any zucchini in it. He loves this dish!
4. This cute DIY. Super easy and you probably have everything you need on hand. If you don't, a quick stop at your local craft store will do the trick and for very little cash.
5. This website. My youngest and I had a fun time plugging in various book themes (suggested and our own.) It's quite engaging.
