Coffee and Light

My mornings were rather slow this week. I took my time to drink my coffee and play in the beautiful summer light that floods my dining room. One of the best decorating decisions I've ever made was to paint our east facing dining room white. It was red. For nearly 10 years. A beautiful but light absorbing, tinging-everything-red, red. The white room is so much more peaceful. So much more calming. So much more simple now.

      Thank you for stopping by. Each day, I'm learning how the light changes in that room. I do love it so. ANd the mug is one of my fav's!

      It's been a great decision! And thank you for stopping by. Try as I might to be consistent in my posting I don't get to it nearly as often as I'd like. I'm hoping to do better in that department.
