Friday Finds

{I'm linking up with Kim Klassen and posting about something I've found this week: an image, a thought, an insight--whatever it may be, the possibilities are endless.}

After an unbearably hot week with 7 days straight of 100+ degree weather we ventured to the coast. This sand dollar.  Found while enjoying a peaceful walk on the beach. A gift to add to my ever growing list. A reward for a little serendipitous moment of looking behind instead of ahead. I love sand dollars.  They are so fragile that to survive the pounding surf is a gift itself. But to find one? To me that is akin to finding buried treasure.

If you have a Friday Find you'd like to share, please link your post over at Kim's Cafe. The more the merrier! And please don't forget to tell me about it...I'd love to send you some bloggy-type love!

  1. Love the way you have taken, this with the sand dollar 'find' held against the sea which it came from.

    1. Thank you! It was a great find...so unexpected. We've never found any at this particular beach before!
