Gus

Things around here have been rather busy.  Over the past couple of weeks we've wrapped up our homeschool year (our 13th!), enjoyed Summerfest 2013 (our church's VBS) and most recently added a new member to our family: Augustine, aka Gus.  He's a lovable, roly poly ball of fun! He's our second beagle, the first being "Cos" who lived to a ripe old age of 17.5 years!  It took me three years to agree to get another dog. "Cos" was so special to me I just couldn't think of replacing him.  But when my younger two children were afraid of a friend's small dog I realized that I needed to step in and do something about that; our family had been dog-less for long enough!

We couldn't have asked for a sweeter, more lovable pup...truly a blessing.  We are all in love.
